Human Development Index
Developed by the Social Science Research Council, the HDI attempts to quantify overall well-being of individuals on the basis of three primary factors: Health, Education, and Income. Each measurement is calculated independently based on available public and private research, and then compiled into an overall metric. Research is broken down to a county level.
